We can treat many food, drink, pet, and traffic stains, and they often improve significantly. However, some stains are permanent, especially bleach marks, dye transfer, rust, ink, sun fading, old pet urine, and stains that have affected the backing or underlay. We'll inspect and explain likely results before treatment.
Standard carpet steam cleaning includes pre-inspection, pre-vacuum, pre-spray, dwell time, agitation where required, and professional hot-water extraction. Optional extras like deodoriser, pet urine treatment, stain-specific treatment, carpet protector, heavy odour treatment, and difficult stain work are quoted separately.
Most carpets dry within 2 to 6 hours with good airflow. Drying time depends on carpet fibre, soil level, humidity, ventilation, weather, and how much cleaning is needed. Using fans, opening windows, or running air-conditioning can help speed up drying.
Our minimum booking charge for carpet and upholstery steam cleaning is $175. This covers travel, setup, fabric inspection, equipment, cleaning time, and pack-down. Smaller jobs can still be booked, but the minimum charge applies.
We can shift small, safe-to-move furniture where practical, such as light chairs or small side tables. Heavy, fragile, electronic, full, awkward, or valuable items are not moved unless agreed beforehand. Large furniture with wooden legs is usually cleaned around, not moved or placed back on damp carpet, because moisture can damage the wood or cause colour transfer onto the carpet. For best results, please clear floors and small items before we arrive.
