We clean suitable short to medium pile rugs using a method matched to the fibre, backing, soil level, and condition. Shaggy, silk, Persian, antique, viscose, sisal, jute, hand-knotted, unstable-dye, or delicate specialist rugs are not serviced.

Do you clean shaggy rugs?+
No. We do not clean shaggy rugs. Long-pile and shaggy rugs can hold moisture, soil, odours, and residue deep in the fibres, and they may require specialist off-site washing instead of standard on-site steam cleaning.
What rugs are not serviced?+
We do not clean shaggy rugs, silk rugs, Persian rugs, antique rugs, viscose rugs, sisal, jute, hand-knotted rugs, unstable-dye rugs, or delicate specialist rugs. If a rug is not suitable for safe on-site cleaning, we'll let you know before starting.
Is there a minimum booking charge?+
Yes. A $175 minimum booking charge applies to all steam cleaning services, including rug cleaning. Smaller rugs can still be booked, but the minimum charge applies per visit.
Can you remove stains and odours from rugs?+
We can treat many common stains and odours where suitable, but results depend on the rug fibre, backing, age, dye stability, stain type, and whether contamination has reached the backing or floor underneath. Permanent stains, dye bleed, bleach marks, sun fading, urine damage, and fibre wear may not fully come out.
