Fabric check
Before cleaning, we inspect the upholstery and test a small area where required. We check for fabric sensitivity, colour movement, wear, stains, and any risk areas before wet cleaning.

Clean to fabric type
We pre-vacuum, apply a suitable pre-spray, gently agitate where appropriate, and clean using hot-water extraction or low-moisture methods depending on the fabric. Cushions, seams, armrests, and high-contact areas are detailed where included.

Final check
We groom the fabric where suitable, explain drying expectations, and complete a final check against the agreed scope. If something included in the quote was missed, let us know within 48 hours and we'll fix it under the Finish Pass Promise.

What is the minimum charge for upholstery cleaning?+
Our minimum booking charge for carpet and upholstery steam cleaning is $175. This covers travel, setup, fabric inspection, equipment, cleaning time, and pack-down. Smaller jobs can still be booked, but the minimum charge applies.
Can you clean all types of sofas and fabric furniture?+
We clean many fabric sofas, lounges, armchairs, dining chairs, office chairs, and headboards. Some fabrics may need spot testing, low-moisture cleaning, or a specialist method. Leather, suede, velvet, silk, viscose, dry-clean-only fabrics, unstable dyes, and delicate upholstery are assessed before cleaning.
Can you remove stains and odours from upholstery?+
We can treat many food, drink, body oil, pet, and general use stains, and odours can often be reduced. Some marks may be permanent, especially dye transfer, bleach marks, sun fading, old urine, water marks, fabric wear, or stains that have affected the padding underneath.
How long does upholstery take to dry?+
Most upholstery dries within 4 to 8 hours with good airflow, depending on the fabric, cushion thickness, humidity, ventilation, and how much cleaning is required. Using fans, opening windows, or running air-conditioning can help speed up drying.
What happens if something is missed?+
If something included in the agreed written scope was missed or not completed to standard, let us know within 48 hours and we'll return to fix it at no extra charge. This does not cover permanent stains, fabric damage, colour loss, sun fading, wear and tear, odours from deep padding, or items outside the original quote.
